I came home one day to my ac unit not blowing cold air and a hit house. The vents in my house just kept blowing warm air. I tried to figure out what the problem was on my on but it didn't work. So I searched up on Google HVAC companies and fortunately found Manny's Heating and Air Conditioning. I saw that it was a family owned and operated business, so I wanted to show my support. I called them this morning and the friendly staff member named Giselle picked up the phone and answered my questions and set up a same day appointment with an HVAC technician to come out and fix the problem. About 2 hours later I get a confirmation text from Manny's HVAC telling me their HVAC technician is on their way with a map showing how far away they are and an eta on when they will arrive. Their amazing HVAC technician Frank was on time exactly, and quickly started working on fixing the problem. He went came inside and checked my thermostat, the filter inside my house, the ac unit outside in NY backyard, and the Heating unit/furnace in my attic. He was very knowledgeable and knew what was wrong with my HVAC system. Frank explained to me every step of the way what was going on and was very respectful. He even wore those shoe cover wraps inside my house. He informed my of the issue with my hvac system and how he was fixing it. He even showed me pictures of the problem and how it was fixed. He also informed my that my vent filter needed replacing and showed me all the dust that was clogged up on it. He was able to make a new clean custom filter for me right there on the spot. He then reviewed all his work and checked that the hvac system. Was Heating and Cooling properly. He used some temperature measuring device on the vents in different rooms to make sure the it was blowing cool air and warm air properly. I am very appreciative on how great a job Frank did on fixing the HVAC system in my house and was able to complete it in less than 1 hour and at a very affordable price. Thank you Frank and Manny's Heating & Air Conditioning for doing such a great job and saving me and my family from this wild Southern California weather we have been having. I would definitely recommend you to family and friends. And to anybody reading this in need of HVAC services you are making the right choice and choosing them to take care of your Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning needs. I have a new build house, so I am very particular about finding a technician to service my AC units because the units are brand new and I do not want just anyone tinkering with it. I had interviewed four other AC/furnace repairmen companies, and they all provided me with different opinions and tried to upsell me with a lot of different services to run the price up. As mentioned, I moved into a new build with brand new appliances, and one technician even mentioned that I purchase a new unit altogether that would cost me several thousand dollars. It didn't add up. After interviewing the different companies, I came across Vlad and this company, AirMaker Hvac. Vlad was actually hands on with the assessment, and didnt just eyeball the appliances and give me a quote up front like the other companies. That involvement alone and going the extra step to actually tinker and diagnose the problem already made me feel confident and assured that he actually knew what the problem was. It's like going to the doctor's and just having them eyeball you and tell you what's wrong, without actually taking the stethescope to listen to your lungs...that's like what the other technicians did. What Vlad diagnosed as the problem was far different than what anyone else had suggested was the issue, and he gave me a quote that seemed honest and fair, and definitely was not in the thousands like the others. It definitely did not require replacing and purchasing a new furnace...What a huge and costly mistake that would have been. It's hard to come across honest and hard working companies and am so glad that I interviewed several companies to distinguish and weed out the bad apples, because I was able to find that Vlad will be my forever a/c and furnace serviceman! It's a pain trying to interview and schedule appts with people to just end up not using them cause something doesnt feel right upon the appointment encounter. There's this sense you get..like a gut feeling that something doesnt feel right--like youre getting ripped off. You won't get that with Vlad... if you schedule an appointment with him, you'll see what I mean upon your interaction with him. He's honest, skilled, and knowledgeable. You wont be disappointed...“ Show more
