Julius Saunders says: „Every time it rained, my concrete driveway and walkway would be covered with shingle granules. I reached out to a friend who had recently had their roof replaced.
They highly recommended Mr. Clifton Nichols with "Same Day Roofing Inc."
I called Mr. Nichols and explained what I was experiencing one day at work. After our conversation, he asked for my address and stated he would be at my house in the hour.
He called me back within an hour and explained what was going on (Shingles had deteriorated). And that he had gathered all of the necessary measurements and could get with me later that evening after work if I choose to.
The existing shingles were a 30-year Tamko brand put on my house in 2009 and only lasted 14 years.
I met with Mr. Nichols later, the same day, and he went over the measurements and how much material (shingles, ridge vents, underlining felt paper, possible plywood replacement, etc.) would be needed to tear off and replace the roof.
The price he quoted me was very reasonable and included my 12 x 16 storage house. So I confirmed and agreed to let him have the job.
He proceeded to show me shingle samples by brand, GAF, IKO, Owen's Corning, and several others. As well as the difference in colors. The difference in generic and synthetic felt paper, Roofing drip edge, and the attic heat released by installing Ridge vents. Which I didn't have at the time.
A date was set for work to begin two days later, which it did. And everything was completed the same day.
I took off work that particular day of course, to monitor things myself. I noticed right off how Mr. Nichols crew went around the house with plastic approximately 10ft wide to catch the shingles and nails being torn off and neatly collected them.
I decided to go with the Owen's Corning Shingle (Onyn Black) and brand after doing a little research on their product, and how other customers said they stand behind it.
So yes, I am certainly one happy camper, and would highly recommend Mr. Clifton Nichols and crew to do your work as well.
Thank you,
Julius...“ Show more
