Here are some things that left us totally impressed: COMMUNICATION: First, he showed up on the first day at the time that we set. As he was leaving Birmingham to meet us in Tuscaloosa, he called to inform us of his arrival time according to his GPS. Then after we contracted with him, Trey informed us of the start date and time. He ACTUALLY started according to the schedule that he promised. Finally, Trey texted us every day during the construction process to let us know when his team was starting for the day . I can't tell you how great this was! WORKMANSHIP: In and Out Flooring did a fantastic job on our floors. We purchased our flooring from LLFlooring, but our floors were too uneven to install any kind of tongue and grove product on top. Therefore, we had to have engineers level our floors before install. We asked In and Out to remove our old subfloors and covering (carpet and laminate), wait for the engineers to level our joist, then return to lay the subfloor and new laminate.During the initial inspection, Trey looked in the corners of the room and informed us that we had multiple layers of flooring. He was absolutely correct. During construction, we found that we had upwards of 6 layers of floor coverings under the carpet. He promptly updated the price quote so that we were quickly abreast of the impact to our budget. They also took care of the work. He informed us a day prior of his team finishing the work so that we could coordinate the start time with the engineers. Once the floors were leveled, In and Out returned within a day of us informing him that the floors were ready. They were so quick to respond, we had to ask them to pick up the new flooring to get started (we live 2 hours away). His team installed the flooring throughout the entire condo (7 rooms in 900 sq ft) within a few days. OMG, they did such a great job! They called to suggest that we replace all of the new baseboards and trim so that all rooms matched. I am so glad that we took their suggestion. It really updated the entire look. PRICE: Their rates were very competitive. They were not the cheapest, but we think that we got more value for our dollars spent. I want to reiterate that we lived more than 2 hours away and were never onsite during construction. We met Trey during the initial inspection so that he could provide an estimate, and didn't have to return to assist him afterwards. He and his team informed and mitigated every issue that popped up--and believe me--we had plenty. They were very professional and trustworthy. If you are in the market for new flooring, you won't regret using this company. Other customers' reviews are what convinced us to give them a try, and I hope that ours will convince you!
