Judge Johnston says: „In September 2023, I needed to replace two complete AC/Furnaces (electric air conditioning with a natural gas furnace) and one heat pump.
Keith Morrison, a seasoned professional from Climate Masters, Inc., meticulously evaluated the work and equipment required at my home. His profound knowledge and the company's unwavering commitment to quality were evident in the options he presented, such as the installation of a mini-split system as an alternative to the heat pump. This level of professionalism, expertise, and efficiency instilled in me a deep sense of reassurance, affirming that I had indeed made the right choice with Climate Masters.
I retained Climate Masters, Inc. to perform this project. Over the 35 years I have lived in the house, I have replaced units several times. I have had pretty good HVAC contractors, but one was not so good.
Climate Masters was by far the best HVAC contractor that I have used. Starting with Keith Morrison and continuing through to all of the installers and technicians, all were knowledgeable, dependable, polite, and efficient. Additionally, they repaired, sealed, and installed supports on the 50-year-old sheet metal duct work in the crawlspace. Some duct work in the crawlspace was insulated with deteriorating fiberglass and paper insulation, and some insulation had come off. They inspected all the duct work, sealed any visible leaks, and applied first-rate insulation on all the duct work. Much of the duct work was hanging by corroded metal straps or not supported at all. Climate Masters added new straps and supports to the drain lines, which had never been supported. In fact, because of the duct work they performed, two air registers that had never worked began delivering air as intended.
Since Climate Masters would be removing the old units (two of which worked pretty well but were on their last leg), I did not want to be without air conditioning overnight while the new units were installed. I was only without air conditioning for six to eight hours before they had the new units up and running,
Since three outside units were being installed, I didn't want them sitting on three different pad which, over time, would settle at different levels and looks unsightly. Keith Morrison provided measurements for a concrete pad which would support all three units. Since I was having a concrete driveway installed it was easy for the concrete contractor to pour this AC slab at the location and specifications which Keith had provided.
Several months after the installation, I encountered an issue with the AC. The outside units were not functioning, and it was the middle of the night. Despite the late hour, I decided to call Climate Masters the next morning. To my surprise, within hours, Stephen Morrison was at my doorstep. He swiftly tested the systems, diagnosed the problem, and found that a defective 100 amp breaker in the main service panel, which had been replaced by an electrical contractor, was the cause. The electrical contractor promptly replaced the breaker, resolving the issue.
With the purchase of these systems, Climate Masters included a one-year Residential Energy Savings Agreement, which provides six-month tune-ups and evaluations of the system. The Climate Masters employees who performed the first visit(the second will be in the fall) were friendly, knowledgeable, and did a very thorough job. I certainly intend to sign up for their Residential Energy Savings Agreement after my one-year period is up.
I can’t recommend Service Masters more highly for all HVAC work, including installing new gas and electric central systems, repairing any type or brand of system, and purchasing and installing central dehumidifiers and air purifiers. They also installed surge protectors for the outside units...“ Show more
