While this has been the biggest project so far, vinyl siding replacement (2,400 sq ft 2 story house) it was just as easy as past smaller projects. I first used WT Anderson seven years ago to install gutters and since then they have helped with roofing and now our siding project, the work has always been impeccable. With the siding replacement being a much larger and more noticeable project, we probably drove the team a bit crazier with our initial indecisiveness (color,, size, style etc). This led to lots of back and forth several trips out for Tom and many estimates before we even came to an agreement to move forward, the entire time the team was responsive. The responsiveness in the planning was great as I feel many times in the planning phase a contractor is elusive and difficult to get answers from, but not in this case. Once we decided on a color and moved forward with the contract things went smoothly compared to other contractors I have dealt with in the past. There are the usual hiccups with supply delivery’s and what not, but once WT Andersons crew got started, they got right to work, the plan was start at 8 each day weather permitting, I believe we only had weather impact one day. The crews would typically work until about 5 and they cleaned the yard up each day storying materials, picking up the yards of debris, checking for nails. Even though my yard was a construction site I was pleased with how they still left it in good shape at the end of the day. Two weeks had been allotted for the project, we got started one day late and it finished three days ahead. Workmanship: It is great, they did not rush to just get the siding thrown up on the house they took the time to layout the siding as best as possible, trimming, caulking everything done with care. They take pride in their workmanship. I live in a home that was initially built in 1942 so they found some areas that had damage and needed repair, as was called out in the contract they repaired it so the siding would lay correctly. They did not skip over a section that needed to be repaired to get done with the job and move on to the next they did the right thing; they made the repair. The repairs in our contract had a set out price for materials that would be billed out in the end, it was not excessive it was quite fair. He and Dylan, the project manager for my roof, both were very respectful of my time and worked around my schedule. Payment was due only upon completion of the job. Every interaction showed how trustworthy and honest this company is. As for the roof work itself: The crew who worked on my roof, led by Hector, was highly skilled and a joy to watch. Their care and efficiency meant that not only is my roof beautiful and sound, but nothing at my property got damaged. Further, as needed, they cut out the plywood shapes to match the areas that needed replacing--keeping my plywood costs down too. Throughout the roof installation, the crew and Dylan addressed my every question and concern. They worked smoothly and finished the entire job in less than one day (this included a total roof replacement for house and shed; installation of the drip edge vent on both front and back of the house, a new ridge vent, and more). The timing of the job was also scheduled to make sure I did not miss a long-anticipated family reunion. Dylan worked with my schedule to pick up the check; gave a receipt; and the business office also promptly sent me an official receipt. Every single person throughout has been such a pleasure to work with. I'm so happy with the beautiful new roof (which is stunning on both house and shed), and so thankful to everyone involved for their creative problem solving, hard work, patience, kindness, good deeds, honor, and consideration.
