Wilco just completed a 31 window replacement for my home in Bee Cave and it could not have been a better experience! After 2 years of research on window replacement, and interviewing 5 different companies I selected Wilco. Still scarred from a bad window experience a few years ago and from several bad contractors in my past, this experience rebuilt my trust in the industry. This turned out to be the smoothest remodeling project I've ever done, from start to completion in 5 days.

After expert consultation with Kyle and Marcus and 3 in home visits I chose black inside and black outside Pella Impervia fiberglass windows. Such a high quality window is only worth it if you have a high quality installation, and Wilco's installation team led by their head installer Edwin delivered. Edwin was even introduced to me before I made the decision to move forward, and once I met him I knew the job would be done right. Most other companies charge extra for mortar, it's standard with Wilco as are top quality nails,  tape, foam, and caulk. The crew took their time, careful not to damage my home and cleaning as they moved along. My backyard is turf, so they took special precautions to protect it from damage. They were super careful not to drop debris or glass (my kids play barefoot on the turf).

The aesthetic improvement to our 2011 built home is remarkable, even better than I could've imagined. Our neighbors constantly tell us how good they look. Kyle and Marcus helped immensely in the design selections for our windows (grids, direct set windows, casement windows, etc). In addition to the aesthetic benefits we've noticed other benefits, namely our home is much quieter, rooms are holding temperature (4-6 degrees cooler than our builder grade windows), less dust, and my allergies are even improved.

If you are considering replacement windows but nervous about a painful process, you can be assured Wilco will deliver a world class experience. Deciding to replace your homes windows can be very difficult due to the cost/investment, but windows are an asset, annually going up in price along with labor, if you are planning to stay in your home long term and have builder grade windows, consider replacing them with Wilco.

We contacted Wilco Windows & Siding back in September to obtain a quote.  Both Kyle and Marcus arrived to measure our windows and make suggestions.  We had three single hung windows in the living and dining rooms they suggested we change to picture windows. We had other windows to allow airflow, on those few Texas days people leave their windows open.  They said we would notice a huge difference over our old aluminum windows installed over 20 years ago.  During the last few Austin freezes, we could feel the cold penetrating the windows from a few feet away.  We could also feel air sneaking through the frame. Same went for the summer heat. For our windows facing the sun, the aluminum was very hot to the touch.  This was definitely increasing our electricity bill. They suggested we install Vistamark Endura series vinyl windows, Which are manufactured in Texas, for Texas homes. Cardinal glass is used, which is also manufactured in Texas, and very high-quality.  Of the four quotes we received, they were the lowest.  We placed everything on hold after a death in the family.  In February 2024, we contacted them again, and they made another visit to discuss any changes to the original quote.  The only thing we updated, at a minimal charge, was some windows facing outdoor noise sources had offset glass chosen to reduce the noise. For windows facing the sun, we chose 452 glass to help with UV radiation on our furniture, and heat transfer. They honored their price from the prior September, so we pulled the trigger. We usually don’t go with the lowest estimate, but we trusted Marcus and Kyle.  Even with the upgrades, their estimate was lower than competitors. They gave us a timeline of the window manufacturing, and said they should be able to schedule install within 10 days of receiving the product.  They contacted us within the timeframe they estimated and said the windows had been received. We were able to schedule the install within three days of this, and when they came out, they finished in one day!  They look better, feel better, and have less noise and heat transfer. We had a great experience with Wilco who just installed over 20 Vistamark windows and a ProVia front door on our home. From start to finish everyone we dealt with at Wilco was excellent. No high pressure sales tactics like other window companies we engaged initially. Marcus and Kyle took the time to understand our wants and needs and helped guide us toward the best choice for us, and were always available to answer our numerous questions along the way. I also appreciated they showed up multiple times during the installation. Edwin, the lead installer, inspired confidence on the installation from the very first meeting, and did an amazing job on our windows and our door. The rest of the crew -- Gabriel, Danny, and Eric were all very friendly and left the workspace as clean as can be  expected for this kind of work.

If you're looking for a great window contractor, do yourself a favor and call Wilco. You'll get better service from these local, independent folks than you will the big names at the big box store or your door to door salesmen...

I reached out to 4 window companies and chose Wilco Windows because I felt comfortable with them and they were honest throughout the entire process, plus they were extremely knowledgeable regarding their product and windows in general. They are good people! They did not try to up-sell me and were honest throughout the entire process. They were very patient  with me while trying to figure out the grid pattern for our windows! We ordered Vista Mark windows from them and cannot be happier. It took 1.5 months from ordering to installation.
Not only did the windows transform the aesthetic of our home, we could immediately tell a difference in how quiet our home was (we live on a busy street) and how much cooler the home felt (windows were installed in June). The install team was very nice and respectful. Installation went very smoothly and they had our windows installed in 1 day and they came back the next day to finish up the trim work.  We received quality windows for a great price along with excellent customer service. I highly recommend them for window replacement, they are wonderful...
