I have never been a person to take time out of my day to write a negative review regarding a company, however, it is crucial that this is made aware of. My AC unit blew. On 9/1 a service ticket was made with HSA (my home warranty company). ARC Mechanical LLC (Bob) was assigned the repair. I patiently waited SEVERAL days, as per warranty policy the contractor has 48 hours to reach out to schedule an appointment. Five days passed, heard nothing. I decided to reach out, no answer. I then received a call back from Bob and confirmed with him that he had been assigned my repair. During our initial conversation, Bob sounded extremely overwhelmed. He stated he was behind on jobs (as Labor Day was 9/2 this seemed fair, and I could understand). LET THE NIGHTMARE BEGIN.
He schedules me 9/12 for the visit to assess the repair (quickest he claimed he could schedule me). Bob never shows, nor does Bob contact me in any form. I then reach out to him, no response, only to then receive a call back with him stating "yeah I can't get out there today, my wife has surgery tomorrow and I'm behind on jobs, how's Sunday work for you?". This level of unprofessionalism is unmatchable. Zero communication. He quickly asks me if Sunday works, and I kindly told him Sunday will not work. He then proceeds to tell me "do not worry, we will get you taken care of." Approximately two weeks out now, and no assessment of my repair. He then proceeds to tell me that he can have his partner (Zac) come out tomorrow (9/13 Friday morning) to assess the repair. Zac arrives very unpleasant. He quickly assesses the repair, is extremely uninformative with minimal communication, but then proceeds to tell me my unit is an older unit, it is, in fact shot, and I would need a completely new one. He states he will send the diagnosis/required paperwork to the company by the end of that business day.
Five more days pass by as I am in very close contact with my warranty company keeping them closely informed during this frustrating and ridiculous process. Several failed attempts from myself and my warranty company were made to get ahold of Bob. No reply, nobody reached out, no progress, NOTHING. My warranty company then escalates the matter to the Vendor (supervisor of HSA) a week after no diagnosis is turned over and completed for the repair. Instantaneously a falsified diagnosis is sent over to my warranty company stating that wires and other equipment were exposed in and around my unit, resulting in HSA stating it would not be covered. Thankfully, keeping them closely informed with this nightmare of a process paid off and a second contractor was sent to my property with success moving forward.
This type of movement as a business owner is nothing short of despicable. The entire experience with ARC Mechanical LLC was absolutely pitiful. If you are looking to deal with a company that displays an exceptional lack of professionalism, communication, and worthiness THIS IS YOUR GUY! He will tell you one thing and do the exact opposite. Do yourself a favor from the start; save your energy, time, and money because this company is a joke, and you will get absolutely nowhere. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS, TOTAL SCAM...
