We like to use local small businesses as much as possible, and Benji's is definitely that. Benji himself did our initial inspection and oversaw the work of a 3-man crew. He mentioned only employing one other, I think. Their work was efficient, thorough, and very timely. We were impressed with Benji's company.

The long version: We initially called Benji's because our insurance company wanted the roof of our new house inspected within so many days of purchase. Of the quotes we got for just a roof inspection, Benji's was the lowest, and Benji himself was out the next day to conduct the inspection. He wrote up what we needed for insurance and offered to service the roof to buy us a couple more years, which we took him up on.

At that time, Benji also provided an estimate for the entire roof installation. We decided to move forward with replacing the whole thing, so we got one more estimate from another company to compare, but it wasn't even a close decision. Again, Benji's estimate was lower AND it was itemized down to not just the products they'd be using, but even the brands of the products they would use. We knew exactly where our money would be going.

Work started on our roof within the following week. Benji's crew were friendly, professional, efficient hard workers, and Benji himself stopped by to check in on the work multiple times per day. They handled unfortunate surprises (thunderstorm + bee hive) like champs. When our weather vane broke, Benji got us a new one, even sent me pictures from the store to pick which one we wanted, and installed it. They even replaced the shingles on our cupola to match the rest of the roof.

Overall, we are happy with the professionalism of Benji and his crew, the timeliness of the job, and quality of the work. Our new roof looks great and will hopefully last a long, long time...
