I want to share my amazing experience with Zach Shaffer today. He came to our home for a free estimate from 9:30am-11:20am (I am mentioning this because of how extremely thorough he was compared to a competitor who was only here for 5-10 minutes and didn’t even get up on my roof). He first went up to mark with chalk, assess the roof, look for problem areas, and took the time to make a video for us explaining everything. He then came down to have us watch the video. I then mentioned we had a new area of mold on the ceiling near our attic entrance. He went in the attic with us and showed us our ventilation issues, asked a lot of questions and educated us A LOT. He answered every one of our questions and asked frequently if we had any. It feels so amazing to KNOW what they are going to do and WHY they are going to do it. After doing all of this, he got our estimate done right there and had a number for us within 15 minutes. We then sat down and went over pricing, colors, gutters/colors, etc. Our roof was in desperate need of TLC. Zach estimated our roof was over 25 years old but I believe it has been on even longer than that as the previous owners never replaced it. He made sure we felt comfortable with every step and broke down pricing and payment options with us. I am so happy with our decision. We get 0% interest for 12 months and will have our roof paid off in 2 years. I want to also mention that Zach has a serious passion for what he does and loves to educate potential clients. Modern Roofing made our roofing experience incredibly easy. My husband’s sister needed a new roof, so this was a long distance experience. They kept in touch with updates and sent many pictures. Zach, Sam, and Levi gave us the absolute best experience possible! Our roof had seen better days, with multiple patch jobs over the years, and we had been putting off getting it replaced because of some bad experiences getting quotes in the past. But these guys made everything absolutely seamless from start to finish! They were professional, courteous, and quick, giving us photos and updates every step of the way.
