We had an excellent experience with Mr. Handyman. From the scheduling to the actual work, everything was great. Pat B. did an amazing job of replacing 12 screens and building a new one, with all of the quirks an old house and windows/screens can have.  We’ll definitely be using them for other jobs. I highly recommend them...

Great service, on time, fair price
Update:
I wrote the previous review before noticing that there was a defect in the capping of the garage door frame (see picture)

I called Mr. Handyman, and the lady that answered my call told me that that problem will be fixed after the weather strips are installed. Those weather strips are to be installed by a different company.

The lady, condescendingly, even offered an alternative solution: they could come over and hammer there a couple of nails.

Let’s say that either the installation of the weather strips or the hammering of a couple of nails would solve the problem.

The real issue here is that I paid $785 for a job perfectly done, not for a patching, not for a nail. And that did not happened.

I can not recommend a company that holds to such mediocre standards, so I decided to change my review...

When I first called the office they were polite and professional. The set an appointment for next week and call me that day to tell me they had a cancellation to see if I wanted to work done that day. They quoted me an approximate price over the phone after I sent them pictures. The gentleman Pat that they had come to the house was friendly professional gave me options. Before he started the work he let me know the price and what would be done. After the work was done he told me the price was actually less than quoted cuz the job turned out to be easier than he thought. I was very satisfied with the service the honesty. Feel confident calling them...
