After reading roofing reviews, Center Construction was my first choice for a roofer. Fortunately the owner got right back to me and took a quick look and wrote up a detailed estimate. I REALLY like the detail because it assures me that the contract is a no surprises deal. The price was completely acceptable, so I asked for a contract right then. No sales pitch, just good business.

The chimney was rebuilt promptly in one day. The roof was done about 2 weeks later in one day. This crew works extremely hard for long hours. I've never seen roofers work this hard on a very difficult, physical job. Just amazing! No shortcuts. All bad wood was replaced, and good wood was nailed down tight (things do get loose in a 125 year old house). Hammers were like thunder all day!

Center Construction lived up to the reviews I read which made them my first choice. I would go to them first again...
