Nelson Contracting is owned and operated by two brothers, Toby and Aaron Nelson. Combined, Toby and Aaron have over 40 years’ experience in the construction business. Nelson Contracting did the roof on the Olde Glory Theatre.  As a non-profit, we are unable to do everything at once.  They are working with us to do sections at a time....the community hall roof is next!  They even took on the task of shingling the tower, which had original shakes and 3 layers of asphalt!  Braxton was great to work with.  He was very responsive to any questions I had and kept me updated on the project.  He also went above and beyond to get a new piece of glass to replace a small broken out basement window that I noticed as we were outside looking at shingle colors.  I would highly recommend Nelson...

Overall 4.5 stars. The work was excellent 5 star quality for the siding and the individuals doing the work. They were prompt, and cleaned up after themselves daily. They made sure our gates were shut at the end of each day so our dogs wouldn’t get out. They came back to check to make sure the job was satisfactory. The ONLY knock I have for this company is there is room for improvement in communication. When we were first working with them it was hard to tell where we were in the process. When the actual job was done it was a little over a week before someone came out and said they were done with the project, picked up the extra parts and let us know the next steps. All of this to say it isn’t enough to knock them down a full star on this review. The overall job was excellent. The house looks great. I only mentioned the communication issue so if you use this company you don’t get discouraged. Great work...

My Mom and I used Nelson contracting on 2 different houses damaged by hail. Nelson dealt with insurance and did excellent work. There were some bumps in the (often customer error or that we didn't know how things worked). They explained things. They allowed us to add a lot of extra jobs. It took longer than originally expected, but they kept coming back until it was done.

I can't stress enough how much this company cares about its good name. They keep answering calls, texts, and emails. They keep coming back until the work is done. This is our first and only experience with contractors like this. We are very grateful and would recommend Nelson to others. We hope to use them in future...
