Pain to work with, no communication at all and multiple issues with the work. Hired to install a heat pump and upgrade electrical panel to support the greater electricity usage. A year and a half later and probably two dozen calls and I am still waiting for the job to be finished. The photos show how the job was left, with loose and exposed wiring and holes in my walls. "The manager isn't available right now but will call you back when they are." Apparently the manager has been busy for 18 months but the sales team is able to spam me continuously, which inspired this update to my review.

-Took about 2 hours to fill out the forms because the sales guys couldn't use the app.
-After the first day of installation, when they were meant to be finished, returned home to the work not finished and no notification about what was happening. Had to call and get put on hold to get a callback hours later that they'd need a second day to finish.
-After the second day, again no communication about if they were finished. Half the breakers in my box were off without explanation and again had to wait on hold for an explanation if it was safe/ready to turn my electrical back on.

-Heat pump barely kept up the first few days in very mild weather so called to have it checked out- had been programmed wrong and got this sorted.

-About a week later when changing another appliance realized they had never done the electrical upgrade I paid thousands for and called to schedule this to be done. It took several months and over a dozen calls to finally get this installed. In doing so, they left several holes in the wall and tied off cables loose on the side of the house. This is still not resolved 18 months later after perhaps another dozen calls and, "The manager isn't available but will call you back" excuses...

I received excellent service today. My air stopped working and it’s almost 90 today so it was hot and when I scheduled online they were very quick to get into contact with me and see what was going on. The tech, Alex, was here within a few hours. He communicated with me every step of the way and was able to get my air working in a couple hours. He was extremely thorough and very friendly. I highly recommend Blue Dot...

The service member who came out had terrible communication skills did not listen to me did not give me current and updated information. When I told him that my thermostat wasn’t working, he said, let me look at your unit downstairs. Never once from the time he entered my home to the time he went downstairs. Did he tell me that there was a cost? I was under the impression that thermostat was still under warranty. He proceeded to go downstairs and within 60 seconds he said that my unit needs to be cleaned. Looks like it “may”be clogged. It’s going to cost you $450. I said “I’m sorry, but I am not paying $450.00 for something you took two seconds to look at how do you know that it is clogged? “ He then proceeded to not answer my question and said I can do it for 200 Dollars. They I said you didn’t answer my question. I’m not paying $200. I don’t understand how this relates to my thermostat. He said you owe me $120 for my visit today if you’re not going to let me fix your unit. I asked him to leave and said I would call customer service and figure out whats going on. I was extremely uncomfortable. Something didn’t seem right he didn’t introduce himself. Didn’t give me his name He didn’t speak English There was a communication issue. This unit is just a year old brand new system. So I wanted to understand why he jumped to going downstairs rather than looking at my thermostat first and explain himself and his reasoning for being so pushy to go downstairs, he refused to Let me show him pictures of the error message i was getting and insisted he had to go downstairs without me Telling him it was OK...
