I recently had a disappointing experience with Horizon Restoration and want to share my concerns to help others make informed decisions.

Horizon Restoration (AJ) initially promised zero out-of-pocket expenses for my roof replacement, citing expertise in handling insurance claims. However, after installation (which unfortunately damaged my home), they billed my insurance $32,000 - nearly triple the original estimates from other companies ($8,000-$13,000). Now, they're requesting $10,000 for the uncovered amount, despite assuring me that insurance would cover all costs except my deductible.

As a homeowner, I value transparency and fairness. Horizon Restoration's practices raised concerns due to significant discrepancies between estimates and final costs, unclear communication about potential expenses, and questionable business practices. They knowingly inflate insurance claims, expecting payment, and then shift uncovered costs to customers.

I'm filing formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Attorney General's Office to ensure others are aware of these issues.

I hope this warning helps others avoid similar situations and encourages Horizon Restoration to reevaluate their business practices...

Horizon Restoration company is by far the best company that has done work for me. They did an excellent job with my new roof, siding, gutters and window coverings. Perfect caulking all-around. Damien, is top-notch. Provided details of how my claim would be handled, the estimate, explanation of the work, installation and clean up. They completed work in a timely manner, quicker than what I expected. The contractor also came out before and after job completion. If I did not like something ,they fixed it right away. Horizon Restoration are professional, meticulous and take pride in their work. And it shows!! The employees are polite and easy to work with. Focus on customer satisfaction and quality of work is evident and resulted in a highly rated business. This is the company you definitely want to hire! Most importantly, they take time to listen to your needs and make your house beautiful!!! We also had 8 new windows installed from this company- not one issue! Our house is a home, Thanks Horizon Restoration! Excellent work...

Horizon restoration was amazing when doing a claim with my insurance. Had the pleasure of Meeting Joe who dealt with the insurance, meeting with the adjuster more than once on site and made sure they did a correct and thorough job when going over the claim. This ensured the insurance company covered a full repair on the house and detached garage roof.

The crew that came in to take care of the roof once it was approved, were also fantastic, they completed all the work in one day and did a great job with the cleanup afterwards.

Both Joe and the crew were professional and extremely talented.  Can't thank Horizon restoration enough for all their hard work and follow through to ensure the insurance covered all the repairs...
