I recently had a disappointing experience with Horizon Restoration and want to share my concerns to help others make informed decisions.
Horizon Restoration (AJ) initially promised zero out-of-pocket expenses for my roof replacement, citing expertise in handling insurance claims. However, after installation (which unfortunately damaged my home), they billed my insurance $32,000 - nearly triple the original estimates from other companies ($8,000-$13,000). Now, they're requesting $10,000 for the uncovered amount, despite assuring me that insurance would cover all costs except my deductible.
As a homeowner, I value transparency and fairness. Horizon Restoration's practices raised concerns due to significant discrepancies between estimates and final costs, unclear communication about potential expenses, and questionable business practices. They knowingly inflate insurance claims, expecting payment, and then shift uncovered costs to customers.
I'm filing formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Attorney General's Office to ensure others are aware of these issues.
