About Raven Roofing

Building off 12 years experience in the roofing and siding industry, Troy Springer founded Raven Roofing L.L.C. in the summer of 2020. Growing up in Delaware and Pennsylvania, Troy began his roofing career as a laborer before working as a foreman and project manager. During this time, he gained experience with asphalt shingles, metal shingles/panels, tile roofs, flat roofs, siding, soffit, and fascia repairs/replacements for both residential and commercial customers. Troy prides himself on working with his customers to find the best solution for their specific needs and budget. This includes working with home owners on insurance claims for eligible roofing or siding repairs and replacements! As a veteran of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, Troy continuously works to help fellow service men and women in the area. Troy, who owns Raven Roofing, LLC is a pleasure to deal with. He was personable, reliable, knowledgeable and gave me a reasonable price.
I had a roof leak which he identified quickly.
He had to replace the flashing on the roof around the pipe collar which vents the exhaust from the bathroom.
When I need a new roof I will certainly call him.
I recently contacted Troy to replace some siding
that blew off the house from a wind gust. He did a great job with the repair. I highly recommend the quality of his work and plan on contacting him for
any related projects in the future...

During the Christmas Eve 2022 storm, strong winds caused damage to the roofing / siding on our home. First thing the morning after Christmas day I reached out to a number of roofing / siding contractors to obtain estimates to repair the damage. Raven Roofing was one of the roofing / siding contractors contacted.  Troy from Raven Roofing promptly contacted me to set up an appointment to come view the damage and provide me with an estimate. Troy viewed the damage while I was at work and promptly communicated with me on the scope and estimated cost for the repair. A few other roofing / siding contractors also viewed the work and provided a cost estimate. Of all the estimates received the estimate from Raven Roofing was the most reasonably priced and included new materials in the correct color to perform the work. After authorizing Raven Roofing to perform the work Troy provided a window when he would be out to complete the work. During the course of the day Troy texted me numerous times to let me know more precisely when within the window he would be at our home. Troy showed up at the time stated, with the proper newly purchased materials to match the siding color and quickly performed the work, carefully and professionally.
To summarize, my experience with Troy from Raven Roofing was excellent. He was responsive, prompt and clear communication, the cost was fair and reasonable and he used the correct materials (and matched the color), newly purchased specifically for the job. I intend to use Raven Roofing for all future roofing and siding needs and will highly recommend him to my family, friends and neighbors...

It's unfortunate that I have to write this review, considering things started out okay with Raven Roofing, but others should know what they are getting in to if they choose to work with Troy. We spend about $12K to have Troy scrape and reseal or tin roof. The color for the sealant we picked did not turn out to be the same color once applied. We went back and forth trying to find a solution for the color issue, as well as have some of the rusty flashing replaced and ice/snow breakers added since we get bad ice build up in the winter. We were then sent a bill for over $5K to have a new color added, and the other repairs/additions completed. We couldn't afford to have the color fixed, so we opted to just have the flashing done and ice breakers added. I've reached out to Troy now via email, phone calls and text, but received no response. This project has been going on for over a year....... Not sure how a company can stand behind their service and warranty if they ghost their customers. We are stuck now with a roof that looks unfinished, and nothing to help solve the dangerous ice issue we deal with every year........
