Roofing Specialists of San Diego is a family owned and operated roofing company. We entered the roofing industry in 1994 and became a licensed San Diego roofing contractor in 2002. Today, we continue to offer roof repair , new roofing installation, and professional roof inspection services in the San Diego area. Owner, Eric Richardson, is a third-generation San Diego Native, who believes in providing customers with quality work at competitive pricing. And for our commercial clients, we also offer commercial roofing installation, commercial roof repair and commercial roofing maintenance.

While Eric was attending Mira Mesa High School, he would spend his summers working as a San Diego roof installer. It was during that time that Eric decided he wanted to pursue a career as a roofer. But – he didn’t just want to own any roofing company, he wanted to own a roofing company that provided San Diego roofing customers with products and installation services that exceeded industry standards.

I've had the pleasure of working with Eric and his staff. He makes it very easy for the customer. The staff has a porta-potties outside, so the contractors never have to go inside the house. They also have an alarm when someone from the home is walking in or out, all the workers are alerted by their system, and they stop what they are doing. They also run their own electricity so they aren't using the home's power. I was very impressed with the whole operation, it was very clean, stress free, and professional...

Eric at Roofing Specialist is extremely knowledgeable, and very easy to work with.  Excellent communication throughout the project, and his crew was on time, left the site clean at the end of every day, and was very hard working!  A major reason we chose Roofing Specialist was that Eric recommended additional venting for our roof, and explained how adding the vents and placing them properly will help our house have better circulation in the crawlspace, and keep our home cooler in the summer.
